About Our Center
Every Child’s Place is a non-profit, language and learning center for children ages six weeks to 12 years. We welcome children in three groupings: Infants, Crawlers, and Toddlers; Two-Three Year olds, and Three to Five year olds. Our hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We offer full and half day programs and hourly drop-in rates, when available. A collaborative Four-Year-Old Kindergarten and school-age program, designed for children from five to twelve years of age, is based on the calendar of the Kenosha Unified School District.
Every Child’s Place is proud to employ an experienced, talented and nurturing team of early childhood professionals. All teaching staff is acknowledged within the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families Wisconsin State Registry. Each staff member has completed a thorough finger printing background check, employment physical, TB skin test, and drug testing. Our staff is trained in infant and adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid. Each staff member is responsible for up to 25 annual clock hours of in-service and educational training. Employees receive an in-depth orientation at the time of employment.
Our environment is warm and welcoming. A state-of-the-art facility includes library and computer areas, dramatic play space, and art studio. Pleasant, inviting classrooms flood the center with floor to ceiling windows and natural light. A generous glass-enclosed atrium area greets you as you walk into the center, complete with a spacious open play space designed for large motor activities and rainy day play with the feel of being outdoors. Three spacious, safe, fenced-enclosed outdoor play areas promote eco-friendly learning, creativity, and motor development while encircling our beautiful one-level building.
